On November 12th, Kory turned 25! To celebrate his birthday we had dinner with a few of our friends at BJ's Restaurant (it's Chicago pizza style) and then had cake at our house. We had a really fun time and loved being able to celebrate with people we love!! For his birthday he got a membership to Life Time Fitness (gym). He's already preparing his bod for 30! Haha!!!

Little Red Riding Hood
This halloweeen Hannah dressed up as little red riding hood! Her favorite part was definitely answering the door to the trick-or-treaters! Every time we opened the door to some new costumes, Hannah would yell, "WHOAAA!" Too cute! Hehe! She was so busy enjoying the night it was hard to get pictures that weren't blurred as she sprinted around the house. She was so excited. Maybe next year she will be a little more interested in the "treats," but for now, Mommy and Daddy will take care of those for her :)

First Football Game

This weekend we went to Fairfield to visit Kory's Mom and brothers and sister. On Saturday, we took Hannah to her first college football game. And guess what? It was my first time too!! It seems that most people find it hard to believe that in my 22 years I have never seen a live college football game. My conclusion: I have not been missing much. I kid, I kid. It was fun. Kind of. But anyway, the best part was that we got to watch Kory's sister, Aunt Kortney, cheerlead. It's scary to think that one day Kory and I might be on the bleachers watching Hannah do the same thing!!
The rest of the weekend was great, too! Hannah loved staying at Nana Jodie's house. She had so much fun chasing the little dog all over the house. I think most of the time she was trying to boss it around, poor animal! Oh gosh, maybe it was just one of those "you had to be there" moments, but I am laughing as I type this. And yes, there was a whole lot of laughing while we were there too. Too funny! She loved playing with all the toys Nana got out for her (and the "toys" she found in all the kitchen cabinets) and she also loved getting to spend some time with Uncle Kary as well :)
In between all the laughing, we didn't get a chance to take too many photos :( But I always feel like I have to put photos with my post (I feel like it's good blogging etiquette - I am WAY too into this), so here are some I stole ;)
Ft. Worth ZOO!!
The last week of September was beautiful! On the last Sunday of the month we went to the Fort Worth Zoo with our friends and their kiddos. It was so much fun!!! Hannah loved looking at all the different animals (me too - hehe) and we really had a great time. We can't wait to go back! ;) We were so busy enjoying the day we didn't take many pics, but here are some:
(notice Hannah points at everything, animal or no animal.. cute though, huh? Oh yea.. I had to include a pic of the lion, I thought it was cool :)
Sweet Hannah

Gosh, time flies!! The plan was to get some some professional pictures of Hannah when she turned one, but we decided to wait a few more weeks until she was steady on her feet. So here they are, Hannah's official "14 month photos!". Every time I look at these photos I just feel like my heart is going to explode. She is sooo beautiful! She has such a huge personality too and I think these pictures capture it a little bit - I think it would be hard to do her justice though. Boy, does she make us laugh. Not a boring day in the Ballew house, let me tell you!! Praise the Lord for my sweet girl (and her daddy, too ;)
